Molly McCormack is a folk musician from Louisville, Kentucky. She began her dulcimer journey in 1989 after hearing the mountain dulcimer at a school craft fair. Soon after she found the dulcimer community in Louisville, and the rest, they say, is history. Molly's repertoire spans the range from traditional folk music, blues, to original tunes. Her performances include both instrumental and vocal selections. At festivals, she has shared the stage with "The Mother of Folk" Jen Ritchie, and dulcimer luminaries, Jerry Rockwell, Tull Glazener, and Step[hen Seifert. Molly believes that playing music is for everyone, and her gentle teaching technique makes her a favorite of students of all levels. Molly performs solo and teaches at festivals around the country. She also performs in Louisville with the Blind Dog String Band and the Upbeats Jazz Combo.
